Organic food. Theme day in the palm house conference hall and classroom
Organic farming is an environmentally friendly production method. The theme day will briefly introduce the results of Estonian environmental monitoring and plant protection product residue monitoring in order to understand the environmental effects of food production. They talk about the quality and healthiness of organic food and why organic food should be preferred and where to buy it.
With international agreements, Estonia has undertaken to preserve the biodiversity of its country and ensure its survival. The seeds of many important plants are stored in global seed banks. This kind of activity enables to offer a diverse menu in a sustainable manner.
