TREASoURcE involves regional demonstrations of systematic solutions for circular economy value chains and their replications.

The goal is to initiate systemic changes by developing circular economy solutions for currently underutilized or unused plastic waste, end-of-life electric vehicle batteries, and bio-waste. Implementing these solutions in collaboration with businesses, local governments, and industry experts is expected to significantly enhance product and material circulation in the Baltic and North Sea regions. Supporting the circular economy involves developing and scaling technical solutions in value chains, conducting pilot projects, and fostering innovation in collaboration with various stakeholders.

During the project, Tallinn will have the opportunity to implement a pilot project for bio-waste recycling. Tallinn will also test innovative sensor-based technology within waste facilities to monitor waste flows. Additionally, Tallinn will learn from the best practices of Nordic circular economy to apply in the implementation of Tallinn’s circular economy action plan.
