On the theme day, SA Things will introduce the possibilities of reducing waste generation and extending the useful life of things, as well as the collection of waste by type and why it is necessary. Tallinna Jäätmekeskus presents the transformation of waste stations into circular economy centres, the new biodegradable waste system and the product of waste centres – high-quality compost. They are talking about soil valorization in the circular economy key (Nutriloop OÜ).
On theme day, you will find out what is done with the packages taken to the tare point and how the deposit cup system works. Anna Hints’ documentary “Paradise Comes Tomorrow” shows how young mothers have decided to get food for their families from shopping centre bins in order to save the environment and the future of their children. Reet Aus introduces the principles of upcycling in the clothing industry, which reduces the impact of the fashion industry on the environment.
