Could you imagine life without coffee, tea, cocoa or chocolate? Bananas are also consumed in huge quantities in the world, almost 100 million tons every year. What should you know about sugar, cocoa and cotton? We are talking about plants that have become an integral part of our lives in the context of fair trade.

The theme day will be attended by Jana Jesmin, Fairtrade customer relations manager in the Baltics. We also hear the story of the Togo community in West Africa. Senam Koffi Tsobage introduces the life and development of the Togolese community.

The event is part of the special program of the European Green Capital in the Botanical Garden.
