Park(ing) Day
15.09.2023 at 10 am – 8 pm
Park(ing) Day or PARKimise päev is a global event, where people from various cities all around the world repurpose curbside parking spaces by making them into small parks or places to spend some free time. The aim of this event is to make us notice how the cities around us are built and think over how we are using the space around us. This year you can find three parking spaces celebrating the Park(ing) Day in Tallinn.
- Beside Kesklinn District Government (Nunne 18) you can find a parking space that has been changed into a cozy outdoor living room, where you can read a book or do guided creative activities.
- In the parking lot of Põhja-Tallinn District Government (Kari 13) is a space, where you can play giant jenga or build your dream city from lego.
- Near Nõmme District Government (Valdeku 13) is a parking space, where you can play some minigolf. The theme is the reconstructions in Tallinn.
The parks are open 10-20 and everyone is welcome! Come, take some time off and enjoy the activities. See you at Park(ing) Day!
