Theme day in the Palm House: What do we mean when we say that energy production is “renewable”?
The theme day is conducted by Jonas Nahkor, physics and technology teacher, head of studies and one of the initiators of the Estonian Environmental Education Association. In his education, he has dealt in depth with the topic of renewable energy production and near-zero energy buildings, and he explains concepts that are widely spread in society in an understandable way to the listener, such as “green revolution” and “climate neutral”. On the theme day, the answer to the question of what these slogans and words mean from a natural scientific point of view is sought.
The event is part of the special program of the European Green Capital in the Botanical Garden.
NB! Visitors can participate in events with an entrance ticket to the botanical garden.
