The model garden for the city of Tallinn illustrates Tallinn as the European Green Capital 2023, where the concrete urban space is intertwined with green nature and the blue seashore.
The high grass wall running wide across the square acts as a strong and solid background for the perennial flowers blooming at various heights. Beautiful rowan trees look down over the whole composition from their imposing height. The selection of plants used in the design offers aesthetic and visual pleasure for the entire summer as there is always something blooming.
Dense planting including flowering plants creates a favourable environment for butterflies, bees and insects. A birdbath offers birds a chance to cool off in hot weather as well.
Due to the fast pace of life, sustainable and low-maintenance gardening solutions are valued most today. To relax, people want to spend time enjoying the garden rather than working in it.
Just be in the middle of it all and receive the wonderful emotions that the city and nature together are offering you.
